白内障囊外摘出后房型人工晶体植入手术

15例(15眼)老年性成熟期白内障施行白内障囊外摘出兼后房人工晶体植入术,术后随访1～12个月以上。这些手术为美国眼科专家ZdenekGW和Jaffe NS所做。结果视力恢复至≥0.5者8眼(53％),0.4～0.2者6眼(40％),仅1眼(7％)视力为0.1,术后无明显并发症。讨论了手术操作的技术和方法,作者认为在白内障囊外摘出术后一次植入后房型人工晶体对白内障患者是一安全有效的恢复良好视力的方法。

Extracapsular Cataract Extraction And Posterior Chamber IntraocuLar Lens Implant Surgery

Fifteen cases(15 eyes)of mature stage senile cataract with com- bined extracapsular cataract extraction and posterior chamber lens implanta- tion were followed up postoperatively for one to more than twelve months. These operations were performed by the American Ophthalmologist, doctor Gene W. Zdenek and Prof. Norman SJaffe. The visual acuity of 0.5 or better was achieved in 8 eyes(53%), while 0.4-0.2 in 6 eyes(40%)and 0.1 in 1 eye (7%). Postoperative complications associated with the implant were few. The technical aspects and pitfalls of the operation have been discussed. In conelu- sion, primary posterior chamber lens implantation following extracapsular cataract extraction is a safe and effective modality for the restoration of good vision to cataract patients.
