| Abstract: | Pyoderma gangrenosum (PG) can mimic early postoperative sternal wound infections. Steroid therapy is the only method of treatment for this condition, which recognizes the fact that steroids can lead to immunosuppression and potentially inhibit healing after major surgery. |
