Endoscopic hemostasis in the study group was effective in 628 (92.8%) patients, recurrence of bleeding was seen in 21 (3.3%) patients. Effective hemostasis in the control group was achieved in 92 (76.6%) patients, recurrence of bleeding occurred in 13 (14.1%) patients.
