bFGF对胃癌血管新生和生物学行为的影响

目的:探讨碱性成纤维细胞生长因子(bFGF)在胃癌中表达及其对血管新生和肿瘤生物学行为的影响.方法:应用免疫组化SP法检测74例胃癌,17例癌旁bFGF表达及间质微血管密度(MVD).结果:胃癌中肿瘤细胞、间质新生血管高度表达bFGF.胃癌bFGF表达明显高于癌旁正常组织(P<0.01).癌旁正常胃粘膜及伴有肠上皮化生的胃粘膜bFGF表达较弱.bFGF高表达组的平均MVD值明显高于bFGF低表达组的平均MVD值(P<0.01).此外bFGF表达程度与胃癌淋巴结转移密切相关.结论:bFGF可促进肿瘤间质微血管生成,加速肿瘤浸润和转移.

Effect of bFGF on mesenchymal angiogenesis and biological behaviors in gastric cancer

Objective: To investigate the effect of basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) on expression in stomach cancer tissue and on both mesenchyme angiogenesis and biological behaviors of the tumor. Methods: The study had been carried out to examine bFGF and mesenchymal microvessel density,MVD, in 74 cases of gastric carcinoma and 17 cases of corresponding non tumor normal gastric tissue by immunohistochemistry technique. Results: bFGF was strongly expressed within tumor cells and mesenchyma neo microvessels of gastric carcinoma. Expression of bFGF in tumor tissue was higher than that in corresponding normal gastric tissue close to cancer ( P <0 01). bFGF was weakly expressed in both normal gastric tissue nearby cancer and gastric mucosa with intestinal metaplasia. MVD was significantly higher in the group of bFGF strong expression than that in the group of weak expression( P <0 01).In addition, there was significant relationship between the expression of bFGF and the lymph node metastases. Conclusion: bFGF may promote the angiogenesis, the tumor invasiveness and metastases of gastric cancer.
