青蒿琥酯防止急性血吸虫病的实验研究

本文报道了家兔服用青蒿琥酯药物可防止急性血吸虫病发生的试验结果。家兔于感染后第7d开始服用青蒿琥酯16mg／kg，每wk服1次，连服4次。服药兔于感染后40d检查均未出现急性血吸虫病的症状体征。而对照兔则出现典型的发热、食欲差、体重增加缓慢、嗜酸性粒细胞增多、血沉加快、血清白球蛋白比例倒置、肝脾肿大等症状体征。血清免疫学检查也发现对照兔的特异性IgG和CAg全部阳性，而服药组IgG大部分阴性，个别兔为弱阳性，CAg则全部阴性。这是由于青蒿琥酯有效地杀灭血吸虫童虫，阻止或减少虫卵产生，使宿主免受抗原抗体复合物的作用，从而防止急性血吸虫病的发生。

EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON THE PROPHYLAXIS OF ARTESUNATE AGAINST ACUTE SCHISTOSOMIASIS

This paper reported the results of artesunate in the prophylactic treatment of acute schistosomiasis. The deta demonstrated that rabbits did not appear symptoms and signs of acute schistosomiasis when they were administrated orally with artesunate from 7th 7 day after infection, with a dosage of 16 mg/kg once a week for 4 weeks. Wherase in the control group, the infected rabbits had syndrome such as fever, loss of appetite, low growth of weight,eosinophilia, increasing of erythrocyte sedimentation. The ratio of sera albutnin and globular had adversed. Signs of enlargment of liver and spleen appeared. Sera IgG and CAg were positive in rabbits with acute schistosomiasis. In contrast,IgG was negative in most rabbits sera,and all were negative for CAg in the experimental group (artesunate). The explanation is that artesunate can kill the schistosomulum effectively,thus,the number of eggs produced by the female worms could be decreased or stopped. All of these effects make the host get rid of damage by immunecomplex as well as acute schistosomiasis.
