边缘系统低级别胶质瘤

目的对起源于边缘系统的低级别胶质瘤广泛性切除的可行性和效果进行分析。方法对作者１９９４年７月至１９９６年１２月进行广泛性切除的７例边缘系统低级别胶质瘤作一回顾性分析。结果７例病人均进行广泛性肿瘤切除，术后头颅ＣＴ或ＭＲＩ检查无肿瘤残存征象，术后除２例病人出现暂时性失语和记忆力减退外，均恢复良好，手术后无严重神经功能障碍和死亡率。结论边缘系统的低级别胶质瘤起源于异生皮层和中间皮层，可通过手术广泛性切除肿瘤而不致损伤重要功能结构。

Low grade gliomas in limbic and paralimbic system

Objective The low grade gliomas which originate from limbic system are not uncommon. As thetumors grow they spread along the allocortex and spare the adjacent neocortical areas and medial structures except advanced ones. The purpose of the paper is to analyze the possibility and results of the aggressive tumor removal.Methods Seven patients with low-gliomas in limbic system operated on in our hospital through July 1994 toDecember 1996 were analyzed retrospectively. Results Aggressive tumor removal was performed in all of the patientswith excellent postoperative recovery except for 2 patients who developed temporal aphasia, neither postoperative paralysis nor mortality occur. Conclusions The low grade gliomas in limbic system originate from the allocotical andmesocortical areas and have the propensity to spread within the confines of the allocortical and mesocortical zones.Hence these tumors can be removed aggressively with important neurological structures spared.
