鼻咽癌组织中血管内皮因子VEGF、转移抑制基因nm23和肿瘤抑制基因p16的表达及意义

摘    要:目的分析鼻咽癌组织中血管内皮因子(VEGF)、转移抑制基因nm23、肿瘤抑制基因p16的表达与鼻咽癌预后的关系.方法采用SP法检测VEGF、nm23及p16在40例鼻咽癌组织中的表达,分析它们与鼻咽癌复发、转移、患者生存期的相关性.结果鼻咽癌组织VEGF、nm23、p16的阳性表达率分别为55.0%(22/40)、57.5%(23/40)和27.5%(11/40),阳性表达与鼻咽癌患者有无转移及生存期长短有相关性.结论鼻咽癌组织中VEGF、nm23、p16的表达可作为评估鼻咽癌患者预后的参考因素.

Abstract:Objective To investigate the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) and tumor suppressor genes nm23 and p16 in the tissues of nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC) and their clinical implications among cases with NPC. Methods S-P immunohis-tochemical methods were taken to detect the expressive activities of VEGF, nm23 and p16 in theNPC tissues taken before treatment among 40 patients with this tumor. Then, all the cases werefollowed up for more than 5 years after treatment. At last, an analysis was made to see the rela-tionship between the expression of these genes and the associated prognostic indicators such as re-currence, metastasis and survival duration for these patients. Results The positive rates were55. 0% (22/40), 57. 5% (23/40) and 47. 5% (19/40) for the expression of VEGF, nm23 and p16in the detected NPC tissues respectively. The positive expression of these genes was significantlyassociated with the incidence of metastasis and the length of survive for these patients. Conclu-sion The expression of VEGF, nm23 and p16 in NPC tissue can be taken as the indicators forthe evaluation of prognosis among patients with NPC before treatment.
