| Abstract: | Alpha-fetoprotein is an important molecular marker for clinical diagnosis, evaluation of curative effect and prognosis of cancer for long time, especially for hepatocellular carcinoma. But for physiological function of alpha-fetoprotein, we know less than its clinical significance. So here this article presents a review about physiological function of alpha-fetoprotein and its application in molecular therapy of hepatocellular carcinoma. |
