| Abstract: | The present paper reports 77 cases of recurrent and reained bile duct stones at ourdepartment.Choledochescopy extraction of retained common bi1e duct stones through a T- tube tract were taken successfully in 3 cases. 74 cases were treated by variety of operative modeaccord ing to different conditions,with a morbidity of l3%and a mortality of l.3%. The mean timeof following up was 4.1 years,93%of all cases achieved a good effect.At present,recurrent andretained bile duct stones can be treateed by nonoperative means. However,reoperation is still amain method,which carries negligible mortality,minimal morbidity and high success rate. In thisreport,we discussed the choice of reoperative mode and preventive,measures for recurrent and re- tained bile duct stones. |
