辨方症论治体系初探

The system of diagnosis and treatment according to the indications of TCM formulas (SDTI TCMF) is completely different and special, as compared with the existing system of TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment. SDTI TCMF emphasizes making a diagnosis by carefully catching hold of the pivotal symptoms corresponding to the specific indications of a TCM formula from the anfractuous clinical symptomatic manifestations of the patients, that is to say, in treating a patient the emphasis is put on differentiating the symptoms related to the indications of a TCM formula, not on differentiating syndromes. The contents on indications of formulas in some TCM classics, such as Shanghanlun, Jinguiyaolue, and Wenbingtiaobian, are the theoretical foundation of SDTI TCMF. The proposal and establishment of the conception of SDTI TCMF not only grasp the essence of TCM diagnostics and therapeutics, and help the improvement of TCM clinical curative efficacy, but also provide a brand new theoretical approach for TCM modern research.
