Abstract:Objective To analyze the results of electrochemiluminescence immunoassay(ECLIA)and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)in detection of human immunodeficiency virus(HIV).Methods 12000 blood samples were tested for HIV infection by electrochemiluminescence immunoassay and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.The primary screening results,positive cases and diagnostic accuracy of different detection methods were compared.Results Of 12000 samples,30 samples were initially screened positive by electrochemiluminescence immunoassay,and 35 samples were initially screened positive by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.There was no statistically significant difference in positive rate of primary screen between the two detection methods(χ2=0.386,P=0.535>0.05).30 samples were accurately diagnosed by electrochemiluminescence immunoassay,and 30 samples were accurately diagnosed by enzymelinked immunosorbent assay.There was no statistically significant difference in the diagnostic accuracy of the two detection methods(χ2=0,P=1>0.05).Among the results of electrochemiluminescence immunoassay,the number of positive cases with the critical value of 150-220 was the most,with a total of 20 samples,accounting for 66.67%.The number of positive cases with the ratio of different absorbance value to critical value of 1.35-1.80 in enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay results was the most,with a total of 19 samples,accounting for 63.33%.Conclusion HIV infection detection analysis shows that electrochemiluminescence immunoassay has higher accuracy and higher sensitivity,and it takes less time in actual detection,and is less difficult to operate.It is more beneficial to improve the efficiency and quality of clinical work whether from the clinical diagnostic accuracy or from the perspective of clinical work.
