| Abstract: | Objective To analyze the diagnostic value and quality control method of fine needle aspiration cytology(FNAC)in thyroid nodules.Methods 108 patients with thyroid nodules were selected as the research objects,and all of them received fine needle aspiration cytology examination under palpation before operation.With histopathological diagnosis as the gold standard,the diagnostic value of fine needle aspiration cytology was observed.Results Of the 108 patients with thyroid nodules,81 cases were diagnosed as benign lesions(nodular goiter and follicular adenoma)and 27 cases as malignant lesions(papillary thyroid carcinoma and medullary thyroid carcinoma).95 cases were diagnosed by fine needle aspiration cytology,4 cases were missed,and 9 cases were misdiagnosed.The sensitivity was 85.19%,and the diagnosis coincidence rate was 87.96%.Conclusion Fine needle aspiration cytology can obtain good diagnostic results in patients with thyroid nodules,and this method is worthy of clinical promotion and application. |
