Use of HemoCue Hb 201+analysator in the Operations

Objective To investigate the precision of HemoCue Hb 201+ analysator when it was compared with blood gas analysator.Weather by using HemoCue Hb 201+ analysator could save the quantity of blood transfusion or not.Methods 100 patients of aged 46～65,weight 65～81 kg,ASAⅠ～Ⅱ undergoing gastric cancer total correction,were randomly and double-blindly divided into 2 groups(n=50): experience group and equipment group,n=50.Determine the 100 patients′ Hb by the methods of blood gas analysator and HemoCue Hb 201+ analysator;observe the dependability between two methods.In the experience group,the anesthetists decided the time of blood transfusion(this time point was named "instant value" which was determined by HemoCue Hb 201+ analysator).In the equipment group,use HemoCue Hb 201+ analysator to determine Hb.When Hb was <70 g/L,start the blood transfusion.Record 100 patients′ Hb which were determined by two means;record the instant value;record the total blood transfusion units、the mean blood transfusion units、the quantity of the patients weather receiving the blood transfusion or not;record five recovery indexes,including the analepsia time、the highest BT、the lasting time of fever、infection situation and the cut-recovery time.Results The deference of determing Hb by two methods was no statistical meaning.The dependability between two methods was very good.The total blood transfusion units、the mean blood transfusion units and the quantity of the patients receiving the blood transfusion in the experience group were higher than those in the equipment group.The five recovery indexes after operation have no different between two groups.Conclusion The precision of HemoCue Hb 201+ analysator should be very good,which could help saving the blood-using quantity when being used to determine the time of blood transfusion,and could not affect the patients′ recovery after operation.
