| Abstract: | A 70-year-old man was admitted with a nodule adjacent to a cystic lesion in the right lower lung field. Diagnosis of lung cancer was made by transbronchial biopsy. A series of chest radiographs revealed that a cystic lesion had presented 8 years before, and that a nodule appeared on the hilar side of the cyst 5 years later. The cyst may have been formed by the check-valve mechanism due to the lung cancer. |
