Abstract: | Vatamin C and Fe nutrition of students in a teacher training college were determined. The results showed that their dietary pattern was not rational. Vatamin C intake was 54.60% of RNI. Fe intake of male was 132.2% of AI. That of female was 141.25% of AI. They acquired Fe mainly from plant food. Insufficient rates of vitamin C in 4 hours local urine and serum Fe were 48.65% and 20.27%. There were significant differences in serum Fe content and Fe insufficient rate between normal vitamin C group and insufficient vitamin C groups (t=3.92, P<0.01 and X 2 =7.21, P<0.01). The contents of urine vitamin C and serum Fe had significant positive correlation (r=0.3825, P<0.01). |
