Abstract: | The knee is the joint which is most commonly imaged by MRI in children. With increasing participation in competitive sports at younger ages, knee injuries are common in children. While older adolescents have patterns of injury similar to those seen in adults, injuries seen in skeletally immature patients differ. In this essay, the MR findings of injuries of the skeletally immature knee are highlighted. |
