试析生命神圣论

On the Proposition: Life is Sacred

The proposition that life is sacred is the last line of defense for all of bioethics debates. But why the life is sacred? what kind of life is sacred? The article points out: The traditional meaning of this proposition is irrational and unscientific. The modern meaning of this proposition should derive from the rational and morality of human being, the quality and value of man. Sometimes, to die when a person should die is the embodiment of the proposition that life is sacred. Today, when we face to a series of dilemma of bioethics, we should emphasize on the proposition that life is sacred, while opposite the relativism or utilitarianism on life. We should look at the proposition with brand new eyes.
