脐带间充质干细胞向胰岛素分泌细胞分化的研究进展

摘    要:人脐带间充质干细胞是一种从人脐带间质组织中分离出来的全能干细胞,具有自我更新、免疫缺陷和多向分化潜能。新近研究表明,人脐带间充质干细胞在体内微环境及体外细胞因子的作用下不仅能够分化为胰岛样细胞,而且具有一定的β细胞分泌功能,能够降低血糖,克服了胰岛移植治疗糖尿病所面临的供体细胞缺乏和免疫排斥反应问题,从而有望为临床糖尿病细胞治疗开辟了一条新的途径。

Abstract:Human umbilical cord mesenchymal cells isolated from the Wharton's jelly of the umbilical cord ,which possess potential of renewable,low risk of rejection and broad developmental. Human umbilical cord mesenchymal cells not only can be differentiated into islet-like cells under culture conditions of islet cell growth in vivo or in vitro, but also can secrete insulin to decrease blood glucose. Therefore, human mesenchymat stem cells in Wharton's Jelly of the umbilical cord have the potential to become an excellent candidate in β-cell replacement therapy of diabetes.
