Abstract: | The authors have analyzed the results of 570 cases of knee arthroscopy performed in 1974-1987, which included 441 diagnostic and 129 operative arthroscopies. The greatest diagnostic group consisted from 163 cases of suspicion of meniscus injury. Chondromalacia of the patella was the reason for arthroscopy in 53 cases. The importance of joint clinical and arthroscopic examination has been stressed. |
