125I种子源组织间植入近距离治疗恶性肿瘤的疗效观察及临床意义

目的:观察125I粒子组织间植入治疗晚期肿瘤的疗效。方法:125I种子源作为近距离放疗植入于难以根除性切除的各项恶性肿瘤(肝、胰、前列腺等)共35例,随访其治疗效果。结果:所有病人均仍存活,术后3~6月检查:肿块消失6例(17% ),缩小26例(74% ),变化不明显者2例,只有1例继续增大,疼痛基本缓解。结论:本法作为不能根治的恶性肿瘤的辅助治疗,有较好的效果,安全可行。

Observation on the Therapeutic Effect of 125I Radioactive Seeds Interstitial Implantation for Treatment of Advanced Malignancies

Objective To investigate the therapeutic efficacy of ~(125)I radioactive seeds interstitial implantation for late malignancies.Methods ~(125)I seeds as source of brachytherapy were implanted interstitially into 35 patients with late malignancies not radically resectable(liver,pancreas,prostate cancers etc.) and the patients were closely followed.Results To date,all patients survive. Three to six months after the procedure,the tumor disappeared totally in six cases(17%~ ) and diminished in size in 26 cases(74%~ ).Tumor size did not change in 2 cases,only in one case the tumor expanded further.Basically,pain was satisfactorily alleviated.Conclusion As a part of adjuvant therapy for late malignancies,this method is safe and applicable with satifactory therapeutic effect.
