| Abstract: | Aim:To investigate the relationship between insulin resistance(IR)and oxidative stress in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS).Methods:The concentration levels of serum malondialdehyde(MDA),serum glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)and the activity of serum superoxide dismutase(SOD)in 80 women with PCOS(43 associated with IR and 37 without IR),and 30 normal women were measured.Results:The levels of serum GSH-Px,SOD,and MDA among 3 groups had significant differences(F=12.203,27.221,and 16.715,P<0.001).Com... |
