Research progress of drug therapy of infectious endophthalmitis after cateract surgery

Infectious endophthalmitis is a devastating complication after cataract surgery.Patients suspicious or diagnosis of endophthalmitis should be given timely treatment,including drug therapy and surgery.Drug therapy is very important.The author analysed the incidence,risk factors and pathogenic bacteria of infectious endophthalmitis after cataract surgery,and then elaborate the new drug treatment progress of the disease,including applications of antibacterial drugs(antibiotics and antifungal drugs),hormones,mydriasis drugs and the choice of administration.
