口腔卫生宣教对固定正畸矫治成年人和青少年牙龈炎发病的影响

目的探讨口腔卫生宣教对固定正畸矫治过程中成年人和青少年牙龈炎发病的影响,为牙龈炎的防治提供依据。方法将成年人和青少年固定正畸矫治者随机分为口腔卫生宣教组和对照组,宣教组在矫治前进行口腔卫生宣教,在黏固托槽矫治后6个月对患者的口腔卫生情况进行检查,并对不同组牙龈炎患病情况进行比较。结果牙龈炎总患病率为46.7%,成年人组发病率（34.4%）显著低于青少年组（56.8%）（P〈0.01）;青少年中对照组牙龈炎发生率（57.1%）明显高于口腔卫生宣教组（18.0%）,差异有统计学意义（P〈0.01）,而成年人中对照组发病率（64.3%）虽然高于宣教组（45.5%）,但两者之间差异无统计学意义（P〉0.05）。结论固定正畸矫治中成年人牙龈炎发病率低于青少年,口腔卫生宣教对青少年保持清洁的口腔卫生,预防牙龈炎的发生较成年人有更重要的意义。
