多媒体网络环境下医学专业本科生英语学习策略研究

摘    要:本文对北京大学医学部238名本科生进行了问卷调查,旨在探讨多媒体网络自主学习环境下医学专业本科生英语学习策略的使用情况,并重点研究大学英语四级考试成绩高分者与低分者在学习策略使用上的差异.结果表明,接受调查的学生总体上学习策略的使用情况不甚理想,其中社交策略和情感策略使用频率最低;比较高分组和低分组学生学习策略使用差异发现,高分组学生使用认知策略、记忆策略和补偿策略的频率高于低分组学生.根据调查结果,本文作者提出了相关建议,以期对大学英语教学和改革有所参考.

A survey study of language learning strategies used by medical undergraduate students in an Internet and multimedia environment
Abstract:The paper makes an empirical study on the use of language learning strategies in an online multimedia environment by a group of medical undergraduate students. A survey was administered to 238 medical undergraduate students from Peking University Health Science Center. The findings of the research suggest that the overall situation of learning strategy use by this group of Chinese college students is not satisfactory, and the least frequently employed strategies are social and affective strategies. The study also shows statistically significant differences between higher achievers and lower achievers in cognitive,memory and compensation strategy uses in general, and some sub-category strategy uses in particular. Suggestions are discussed for further improvement of online language instruction and learning strategy training.
