Abstract:Substantial seasonal differences are found in the development of the cardioprotective effect of adaptation to physical exercise: in winter such adaptation results in an increase of the resistance of the isolated heart to the contracture and arrhythmogenic effects of ischemia and reperfusion, while in summer the anticontracture effect is absent and the antiarrythmic effect is significantly lowered.
