| Abstract: | At present, arthroscopy of the ankle joint is mostly an operative procedure; it is quite rare for it to be performed for the purpose of reaching a diagnosis. Arthroscopic operations are divided into reconstructive and resective procedures. Arthrodesis of the ankle joint under arthroscopic control and arthroscopy for the treatment of ankle fractures are not currently performed routinely. |
