Abstract:Telehealth is an intervention that can assist patients with heart failure to manage their symptoms at home. However, it is reported that between 24–70% of eligible patients do not receive telehealth. This study aimed to explore factors associated with the initiation of telehealth among home care patients with heart failure using the Outcome and Assessment Information Set data (N = 2,832). The findings indicate patients who received high-risk drugs education by visiting nurses had an 80% increase in the odds of receiving telehealth, and patients who received no assistance from caregivers had a 46% decrease in odds compared to those who were assisted at least daily.
