高学历老年人心理健康状况及其相关因素

目的：研究高学历老年人心理健康状况及其主要相关因素。方法：以老年心理健康问卷为评定工具，对424名高中以上受教育程度的老年人进行调查。结果：高学历老年人心理健康状况显著好于常模情况，并且由年龄、性别、家庭结构等导致的变异性显著减小；高学历老年人心理健康状况与诸多因素有关。结论：高学历老年人心理健康状况总体良好，这与他们注重人际交往、身体健康、夫妻关系和谐、富有生活情趣、子女关系融洽、适当参加一定工作等密切相关。

Mental Health and Related Factors of Well-educated Elderly

Objective:To investigate the mental health of well-educated elderly and explore its related factors.Method:424 old residents of Beijing (aged 60-89), who were educated for 12 years and above, were investigated by Mental Health Inventory for Chinese Elderly.Results:The scores of mental health of well-educated elderly were significantly higher than those of normal sample. However, the variance with different age, sex, and family structure were less within well-educated sample. In addition, high correlations were found between mental health and some satisfaction factors in one's life. It was further revealed with stepwise regression analysis that interpersonal relationships, physical health, husband-wife relationships, personal interests, parents-children relationships and part-time job had significant effects on the total score of mental health.Conclusion:The mental health of well-educated elderly is better than normal, which is probably due to their active life style.
