The classification of pharmacoeconomics evaluation methods and for example of cost-effectiveness analysis methods in application

Because health resources are finite and health care expenses remain high, it is need rationalized for the use of clinical interventions. Pharmacoeconomic analysis becomes an important tool in the process. The tools can help to improve the efficiency so as to maximize use of health resources. This article firstly describes four methods of pharmacoeconomic analysis, then analyze their current application for clinical decision-making. The paper also explores the ways to use the method of cost- effectiveness analysis in-depth.
