三种灌肠剂治疗左半结肠溃疡性结肠炎疗效观察

The effect of three kinds of enemas in treatment of left-sided ulcerative colitis

Objective To investigate the effect and safety of three kinds of enemas (Hydrocortisone 4-ASA and SASP) in treatment of left-sided Ulcerative Colitis (UC). Methods 62 patients with left-sided UC were randomly assigned to four groups for enemas and the duration oftreatment was 4 weeks. They were assessed by clinic symptoms, colonoscopic finding, the degreeof histological inflammation and Williams disease active index (DAI). Result After the treatmentby three kinds of enemas, the rate of clinical improvement was 75%. 68. 7 % and 68. 7% respectively, and that of the controls was 21. 4% (P<0. 05); the rate of inflammation improvement underthe colonoscope was 75%. 68. 7% and 61. 5%, and that of the controls was 71. 4% (P<0. 05) 1the rate of histological improvement was 62. 8%. 50. 0%and 43. 2%, and that of the controls was7. 1 % (P<0. 05). In each treatment group, DAI decreased significantly and without serious sideeffects. Conclusion Three kinds of enemas are all effective, safe and convenient topical therapeuticagents for this disease.
