Abstract:Objective To understand the current situation of the construction of teaching staff in clinical teaching hospitals and the training needs of teachers,as well as to provide a basis for the hospital management department to take teacher training.Methods Through the literature search,expert consultation and other methods to confirm the questionnaire of the clinical teacher survey,select the convenient sampling method to conduct a network questionnaire survey of 359 clinical teachers.Results The 359 clinical teachers in this survey were engaged in working years(15.85±8.44)years,engaged in clinical teaching years(5.84±5.44)years.33.43%obtained provincial and municipal teacher certificate,37.33%had participated in teacher training before the first clinical teaching,84.40%were willing to engage in clinical teaching,60.72%expressed satisfaction with their clinical teaching.In terms of training knowledge needs,the understanding and grasp of the syllabus and teaching plan accounted for 83.57%.In terms of teaching ability requirements regarding how to write a teaching plan accounted for 70.75%,and lectures were mainly used in terms of teaching methodology which accounted for 72.70%.Students’evaluations provided:suggestions for teachers’teaching techniques,clinical thinking training,and student hands-on ability training.Conclusion There is still much room for improvement in the training of clinical teachers.It is necessary to strengthen the coordination of medical education,reform the training mode,improve the training system,focus on teaching consciousness and cultivating clinical teaching ability and improve the quality of training to meet the needs of modern clinical teaching.
