Abstract:Objective To explore the feasibility and effect of the Competency Based Education(CBE)combined with Case-Based Learning(CBL)teaching mode in the teaching of brachial plexus block in children under ultrasound guidance.Methods 40 physicians from October 2018 to October 2019 were randomly divided into control group(n=20)and experimental group(n=20).The traditional medical teaching mode and the CBE+CBL teaching mode are adopted respectively.Record the students'theoretical and skills assessment results,and use the questionnaire to evaluate the satisfaction and teaching effect.Results Compared with the control group,the theoretical and skill assessment scores of the experimental group were higher(P<0.05),and the learning initiative,clinical operation ability,clinical analysis ability and flexible application ability were significantly improved(P<0.05).The teaching satisfaction of the experimental group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).Compared with the time before teaching,the experimental group's recognition of the importance of teaching methods was significantly improved(P<0.05),and significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of CBE+CBL teaching mode can improve the teaching effect and practical ability of brachial plexus block in children under ultrasound guidance,and it can improve clinical teaching quality significantly.
