Abstract:Objective To study the application value of computer-aided technology combined with 3D printing technology in complex tibial platform fracture surgery, and provide better surgical options for such patients.Methods A clinical prospective randomized case-control analysis method was used. A total of 65 patients who were diagnosed with tibial platform fracture and underwent surgical treatment in the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University from December 2018 to May 2020 were selected. All admitted patients used the Schatzker standard of the tibial platform to calculate the distribution of various types. The traditional incision reduction and internal fixation was used in the control group. The digital model and fracture physical model were made with 3D printing technology by computer assistance and operated in advance (the experimental group). According to the simulation results, the surgical steps, model and quantity of internal fixation objects were formulated according to the simulation results, and finally the incision and reset internal fixation of the fracture were performed. The surgical time, intraoperative bleeding amount, total perspective time, postoperative incision flow rate, anatomical reduction rate, postoperative complication rate, mean hospital stay, 1 month, 2 months, 6 months and 1 year of the two groups were counted, and statistical analysis were conducted.Results The surgical time, intraoperative bleeding amount, total perspective time, postoperative incision flow rate, and mean hospital stay of the experimental group were lower than the control group (P<0.05); knee function scores were not statistically significant within 1 month after surgery (P>0.05), while the anatomical reduction rate and the follow-up effect of 2 months, 6 months and 1 year after operation in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of computer-assisted combination with 3D printing technology in the surgical treatment of complex tibia platform fracture can reduce the surgical difficulty and risk, shorten the operation time, improve the surgical treatment effect, and help patients'' postoperative recovery, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
