Abstract:Objective:To investigate the differential expression of T cells in bone marrow mononuclear cells of newly diagnosed stage IV mantle cell lymphoma (MCL).Methods:Firstly, the proportions of CD19-/IgM-,CD19-/IgM+,CD19+/IgM-,CD19+/IgM+ sub-populations in healthy donors and MCL group were detected by flow cytometry.Secondly, the total proportion of CD45+CD3+T cells in the two groups was detected. Finally, the ratios of T cells in the four sub-populations of the two groups were detected. Results:There were significant differences among the four sub-populations in each group (P<0.000 1),and there was no significant difference between the two groups. The percentage of T cells in MCL group (0.46±0.13)% was significantly lower than that in healthy donor group(1.10±0.06)% (P=0.025 1).There was a significant difference in the proportion of T cells among the four sub-populations in the healthy donors group (P<0.000 1),but such difference wasn' t found in the MCL group (P=0.329 4).The percentage of T cells in the sub-populations of CD19-/IgM- in the MCL group was (0.02±0.01)%,which was lower than that of the healthy donor group (1.51±0.35)% (P<0.000 1).The percentage of T cells in the sub-population of CD19+/IgM- in healthy donor group and MCL group was (4.28±0.14)% and (0.65±0.45)%,respectively.The ratio of T cells in the sub-population of CD19+/IgM- in MCL group was still significantly decreased (P=0.001 2).There was no statistical difference for the other two subgroups between the two groups. Conclusion:Compared with healthy donors, the total proportion of T cells in bone marrow lesions of newly diagnosed MCL with stage IV was significantly decreased and the percentages of T cells in the sub-populations of CD19-/IgM- and CD19+/IgM-were significantly decreased. It is suggested that the lack of normal number of T cells in the bone marrow lesions of MCL,and leads to weakened immune monitoring, which may promote the occurrence and development of tumors.
