Clinical Effect and Safety of Shugan Jieyu Capsule Combined with Paroxetine in the Treatment of Depression

Objective To investigate the clinical effect and safety of Shugan Jieyu capsule combined with paroxetine in patients with depression.Methods 112 patients with depression who were treated from September 2017 to November 2018 were selected as subjects.They were randomly divided into the control group(n=56) and the observation group(n=56).The control group was given conventional treatment,and the observation group was treated with paroxetine combined with Shugan Jieyu capsule.After treatment,the effect of the patients was evaluated,and the therapeutic effect and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared.Results HAMA and HAMD scores of the two groups before treatment were not statistically significant(P>0.05).After treatment,HAMA and HAMD scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After the application of paroxetine combined with shugan Jieyu capsule in the treatment of patients with depression,the incidence of adverse reactions such as dry mouth,dizziness,insomnia and nausea in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of Shugan Jieyu capsule combined with paroxetinein the treatment of patients with depression can improve the therapeutic effect of patients and alleviate their mood,which is worthy of promotion and application.
