Practice of problem-based learning with self-generated problems in epidemiology teaching |

| Abstract: | Epidemiology is a unique subject in medicine and is fit for PBL teaching with self-generatod problems.An overview of epidemiology teaching in SUN Yat-sen University and the contents and procedure of PBL teaching with self-generated problems are introduced.The advantages and disadvantages are summarized.We further give some suggestions for improvement.This method offers an option in epidemiology teaching for medical colleges or universities. |
