Research Progress of Drug Therapy for Brain Metastasis from Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

The morbidity and mortality of lung cancer are high. And the most common pathological type is non small cell lung cancer. 24% 40% of the patients with advanced non small cell lung cancer develop brain metastases with poor prognosis. Traditional radiotherapy and surgery are not effective for patients with brain metastases of non small cell lung cancer. And chemotherapy drugs also have difficulty working because of the blood brain barrier. In recent years，the advances of targeted drugs and immunotherapy have provided a new hope for the treatment of patients with brain metastases from non small cell lung cancer. The current advances of drug therapy in patients with brain metastases from non small cell lung cancer will be introduced in this article. Comparison of the various drugs efficacy alone and in combination will be introduce as well，in order to provide a more reasonable treatment for patient with brain metastases from non small cell lung cancer.
