Abstract:A cross-sectional survey of injuries among female youth soccer players found 44.6% (95% confidence interval 34.9%–54.8%) had ever been injured. The injury incidence rate for the current season was 2.2/1000 soccer exposure hours (95% CI 1.5–3.1). Future studies should evaluate modifiable risk factors in youth to identify injury prevention strategies.
