COA: Surgical guidance system and computer navigation for simultaneous femoral osteotomy and total knee arthroplasty for treatment of osteoarthritis associated with severe extra-articular deformity.

Total knee arthroplasty (TKA) is an effective treatment for severe knee arthritis. However, TKA becomes more challenging when knee arthritis is associated with femoral deformity, which leads to irregularity of the canal and variation of anatomic landmarks.In order to make the operation simply and accurately, we used a patient-specific personalized cutting guide and internal fixation system for femoral osteotomy and computer navigation for total knee replacement.
