Abstract: | Synovial cysts of the hip joint occur most frequently in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (1). Despite the increasing frequency of arthroplasty of rheumatoid hips, case reports documenting synovial cysts remain extremely rare. This case report emphasizes the need for the surgeon to include a synovial cyst in the differential diagnosis of a painless groin mass, particularly in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. |
