脑转移瘤的中西医结合治疗进展

脑转移瘤属神经系统常见肿瘤，也是肿瘤患者致残与死亡的主要原因，近年来发生率在不断升高，临床预后极差，治疗十分困难，且疗效均不理想。据国内外文献报道，外科手术、放疗、化疗、中医中药及生物治疗等综合治疗，对脑转移瘤有一定的疗效。中西医结合治疗肿瘤是提高肿瘤治愈率，改善肿瘤患者生活质量，延长存活时间的理想治疗模式，能达到局部与整体治疗、标本兼治的目的。中医药具有提高机体免疫功能和（或）直接抗肿瘤的作用，在恶性肿瘤综合治疗中有其独特的作用，可以贯穿于脑转移瘤治疗的全过程，但不能替代常规（手术、放射外科、放疗、化疗）治疗。大量文献报道，与单纯西医治疗手段相比，配合使用中药的治疗组无论在抑瘤率、生活质量及生存率等方面均取得更好的疗效。因此我们认为，中西医结合治疗脑转移瘤疗效优于单纯西医或单纯中医治疗。

Advances in integration of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine in treatment of brain metastatic tumor

Brain metastatic tumor is a common malignant carcinoma in nerve central system and also the main death cause of cancer patients.Recently the incidence of brain metastatc cancer is gradually in- creasing.It is difficult to treat patients with brain metastatic cancer who have poor clinical prognostic and the treatment outcome is not satisfactory.The literature from home and abroad reported that muhidiscipline treatment including surgical treatment,radiotherapy,chemotherapy,traditional Chinese medicine (TCM),and biological treatment can improve the treatment efficacy and quality of life.TCM may be used in the whole course of treating brain metastatic cancer,can enhance immunological function,and has direct anticancer effect.Treatment combined with traditional Chinese medicine,compared with single western medicine treatment.There were better outcome in terms of tumor inhibition,life quality,and survival.
