Fas系统在星形细胞瘤的表达及其与细胞凋亡的关系

目的 探讨星形细胞瘤组织中ＦａｓＬ的表达及其与细胞凋亡的关系。方法 采用免疫组织化学方法和ＴＵＮＥＬ技术检测４１例星形细胞瘤组织中Ｆａｓ和ＦａｓＬ的表达以及肿瘤细胞的凋记发指数。结果 ２７例（６６％）星形细胞瘤有Ｆａｓ的阳性表达，Ｆａｓ的表达水平较低，３４例（８３％）的瘤细胞是Ｆａｓ的表达完全丢失或阳性细胞数〈５％；３２例（７８％）星形细胞瘤有ＦａｓＬ的阳性表达，ＦａｓＬ的表达水平较高，１９例（４

Expressions of Fas system and its relationship with apoptosisin astrocytomas

Objective To investigate the expression of Fas or FasL and their relationship with apoptosis in astrocytomas. Meth-ods Immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of Fas and FasL by TUNEL technique and apoptosis index (AI) wascalculated in 41 astrocytomas. Results Twenty- seven of the astrocytoms(66% ) expressed Fas. The amount of cells positive for Faswas small. 83% astrocytomas(34 of 41 ) showed complete loss of Fas expression or expression in < 5% of tumor cells. Thirty - two of theastrocytomas (78%) expressed FasL. In contrast, the percentage of positive is mom, with 46% astrocytomas ( 19 of 41) having positivecells greater than 5 %、 AI of astocytomas was 1.09 ± 0.48. The positive expression of Fas/FasL is not significantly related to apoptosis inastrocytomas. Conclusion Fas and FaL are important to the pathogenesis and development of astrocytomas. The development and pro-gression is related to abnormality of apoptosis. The weak expression of Fas may contribute to astrocytomas escaping from clearance by self- immnune system. Further study on the mechanism of astrocytoma apoptosis is needed
