葡萄糖转运蛋白-1在膀胱移行细胞癌中的表达及其临床意义

目的:探讨葡萄糖转运蛋白-1(GLUT-1)的表达与膀胱移行细胞癌生物学行为的关系。方法:应用免疫组化方法对50例膀胱移行细胞癌以及正常膀胱组织中的GLUT-1进行检测,并用计算机图像分析系统对膀胱移行细胞癌中GLUT-1的表达水平进行定量分析。结果:正常膀胱组织中GLUT-1不表达,50例膀胱移行细胞癌中有38例GLUT-1阳性表达(76%),高分级组GLUT-1平均光密度明显高于低分级组(P<0.01),T4期GLUT-1平均光密度明显高于Ta-1期及T2期(P<0.01,P<0.05),复发组GLUT-1平均光密度高于初发组(P<0.05)。结论:膀胱移行细胞癌中GLUT-1的表达与肿瘤的发展密切相关,并预示着一种侵袭性的生物学行为,GLUT-1可作为了解膀胱移行细胞癌生物学行为的参考指标。

Expression of facilitative glucose transporter-1 in bladder transitional cell carcinoma and its clinical significance

Objective:To investigate the relationship between the expression of facilitative glucose transporter-1(GLUT-1)and the biological behavior of bladder transitional cell carcinoma.Methods:The expression of GLUT-1 in 50 cases of bladder cancer was detected by streptavidin-peroxidase immunohistochemical method and the intensity of GLUT-1 expression was assessed by computer image analysis system.Results:In normal bladder tissue GLUT-1 was not detected but in 50 cases of bladder transitional cell carcinoma thirty-eight cases(67%) were GLUT-1 positive.The intensity of GLUT-1 expression(optic density) was significantly higher in high grade group than in low grade group(P=(0.009)).The intensity of GLUT-1 expression was significantly higher in T4 stage than in Ta1 stage and T2 stage(P=(0.002),P=(0.013)) and was higher in recurrent cancer than in primary cancer(P=(0.033)).Conclusions:The expression of GLUT-1 is strongly associated with neoplastic progression in bladder transitional cell carcinoma and indicative of an aggressive biological behavior.The expression of GLUT-1 may be one of parameters for understanding the biological behavior of bladder transitional cell carcinoma.
