Clinical Study on Xiaofeng Zhiyang Tang Combined with Sleep Therapy for Chronic Urticaria

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Xiaofeng Zhiyang tang combined with sleep therapy for chronic urticaria.Methods:A total of 82 cases of patients with chronic urticaria were selected for retrospective study,and were divided into the observation group and the control group according to different treatment measures,with 41 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Xiaofeng Zhiyang tang,and the observation group was additionally intervened with sleep therapy based on the treatment of the control group.Results:The total effective rate was 97.6% in the observation group and 78.0% in the control group,the difference being significant(P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of histamine and Interleukin-10(IL-10) levels between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,histamine in the two groups was decreased when compared with that before treatment(P<0.05),and IL-10 levels were increased(P<0.05).After treatment,here was no significant difference being found in the comparison of histamine and IL-10 levels between the two groups(P>0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the scores of pruritus,sleep,social contact and work between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the above scores in the groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05);the scores of sleep and work in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05),and the scores of pruritus and social contact were similar to those in the control group(P>0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of sleep quality,time for falling asleep,time of insomnia,sleep efficiency and sleep disorder scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the above scores in the observation group were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the ones in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05);sleep quality,time for falling asleep,sleep efficiency and sleep disorder score in the control group were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the time of insomnia had little change(P>0.05).Conclusion:Xiaofeng Zhiyang tang combined with sleep therapy for chronic urticaria has a satisfactory curative effect,which can enhance the clinical effect,improve the levels of plasma histamine and interleukin,and significantly improve sleep quality and quality of life.
