Clinical Study on Acupuncture Combined with Renshen Yangrong Pills for Vertigo of Qi and Blood Deficiency Type

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of acupuncture combined with Renshen Yangrong pills on vertigo qi and blood deficiency type.Methods:A total of 80 patients with vertigo of qi and blood deficiency type from August 2017 to August 2019 were divided into the control group and the observation group,with 40 cases in each group.Both groups were given conventional western medicine treatment;the control group was additionally treated with Renshen Yangrong pills,and the observation group was given self-designed acupuncture combined with Renshen Yangrong pills.The Chinese medicine syndrome scores,score of Dizziness Handicap Inventory(DHI) and cerebral artery blood flow parameters were compared between the two groups before and after treatment,and the effect and adverse reactions were evaluated.Results:After treatment,the Chinese medicine syndrome scores and DHI scores in both groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment,and the the above two scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,differences being significant(P<0.05).The levels of cerebral artery blood flow parameters in both groups were increased when compared with those before treatment,and the levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,differences being significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of clinical effect was 92.50% in the observation group and 75.00% in the control group,the difference being significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The therapy of acupuncture combined with Renshen Yangrong pills is safe and effective in treating vertigo of qi and blood deficiency type,which can improve the clinical symptoms of patients,promote the return of cerebral artery blood flow to normal and relieve vertigo disorder.
