Experience Introduction of XIE Zuogang in Differentiating and Treating Male infertility

This paper introduces Prof.XIE Zuogang’s clinical experience in treating male infertility.Prof.XIE Zuogang believes that only conducting Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation based on modern medical accurate diagnosis,including micro syndrome differentiation,can enhance the therapeutic effect.He uses the theory of“yang transforming into qi,while yin constituting form”from Huangdi Neijing as the guidance to treat male infertility,with emphasis on harmonizing yin and yang and sometimes slightly harmonizing them.For those who cannot be differentiated,it is suggested to treat their spleen and kidney and use the theories related to five zang-organs to modify prescriptions.The experience of Prof.XIE embodies the academic characteristics of integration of Chinese and western medicine,and innovation of syndrome differentiation.
