Abstract: | Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a major problem in primary care. More than 25% of the population experience GERD symptoms, and nonerosive forms of the disease are common. Conservative management is recommended. This review and case study presents conservative treatment options from the updated guidelines for the adult patient with GERD. |
