| Abstract: | Ulcerative colitis (UC), one of non-specific chronic inflammatory conditions of the gastrointestinal tract with unknown complex etiology, is a chronic inflammatory bowel disorder characterized by diffuse mucosal inflammation of the colorectum with exacerbations and remissions.
