| Abstract: | In order to study the relationship between establishing sanitary town and sanitary quality of public places in Jiangsu province,present sanitary status investigation was made in six provincial level sanitary towns and six non sanitary towns including all hotels,barber shops and beauty shops,dancing rooms,and public bathrooms The results showed the rate of staff receiving medical examination,and health education,and the rate of equipped public places with special facilties for disinfection in sanitary towns were significantly higher than those in non sanitary towns( P <0 01) This study indicated that establishing sanitary town might not only promote the construction of sanitary facilities in public places,but also enhance staffs' sanitary consciousness It might be the effective measure to comprehensively raise the sanitary quality of public places |
