Abstract: | Acinar cell carcinoma is an uncommon carcinoma of the exocrine pancreas. On very rare occasions it has been reported in ectopic sites, sometimes with, but usually without contiguous heterotopic pancreatic tissue. Whilst mixed and composite glandular tumours have also been described, pure pancreatic-type acinar cell carcinomas arising in the stomach are very rare. |
